Life in the poor communities of Cape Town is not easy. Many households are deeply affected by HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and persistent unemployment.
Our Soup KItchen at the community clinic in Scottsdene Kraaifontein helps feed people living with HIV/AIDS & Tuberculosis. They need to take medication with food in their stomachs. Nutrition and the ARV medication prolongs lives, helping us lower the number of orphans in our country, which are currently over 5 million.
Healthy living keeps the immune system strong and keeps related illnesses away.
